The No-till on the Plains board created a new award in 2022 to spotlight producers that had committed their lifework to improving soil health. This award was named The David Brandt Soil Legacy Award. The Award recognizes innovation, disrupting the norm, promotion of building soils and soil biology for our future. “Long live the soil.”

Since the dawn of time mankind has lived from the food, fiber, and fuel that earth has provided. Thousands of years passed without issue. But examination of history has determined that changes must be enacted if civilization as we know it will continue.
No-till on the Plains is a 501c3 non-profit educational organization whose mission is to provide education and networking on agricultural production systems that model nature.
