Kaitlyn Dozler is the Virtual Fence Program Manager at the University of Missouri Center for Regenerative Agriculture. Her background is in Natural Resource Science and Rangeland Ecology and Management. Kaitlyn received a M.S. in Natural Resource Science and a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife, both from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Growing up on her family’s farm and ranch in rural Nebraska sparked her passion for agriculture and the outdoors. These experiences shaped Kaitlyn’s academic and professional path, leading her to pursue a graduate degree that combines her interests in agriculture and natural resources. Her graduate research focused on two key areas: evaluating cattle’s short-term stress response to virtual fence stimulus to ensure animal welfare and using game cameras to identify high-use wildlife areas in the sandhills to explore how virtual fences could improve both grazing management and wildlife habitat conservation in these areas
