Tecklenburg Farms LLC was established on September 1, 2016, by Chris and Shawna Tecklenburg.  The Mission at Tecklenburg Farms is to make nutritious food more affordable and accessible to all, serve the community, promote stewardship, and educate on health and wellness.  The small 6-acre urban farm is in a neighborhood on the west side of Hendricks and 13th in Hutchinson, Kansas.  Our small urban farm is certified as organic and operated by resourceful agriculturists who combine entrepreneurship, business skills, family labor, and knowledge to produce food and fiber products consumed by the local people. Chris and Shawna created Glenwood Gardens Health and Wellness Foundation in 2017 to promote “a healthy way of life through the education of growing and consuming nutritious food.”
