Pat joined Trace in February, 2019 as the Row Crop Business Lead. He is responsible for leading Trace’s expansion into the Row Crop market.

Pat started his career as an engineer at Motorola. He spent 20 years in the cellular and  connectivity space holding roles in engineering, account management and sales. In 2013, Pat joined  640 Labs as the VP of Sales and Marketing.  640 Labs was ultimately acquired by The Climate  Corporation. At Climate, he served as Market Development Lead responsible for the worldwide  introduction and commercialization of the FieldView Drive IOT connectivity solution for  agriculture. Pat earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with Honors from Iowa State  University and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from National Technological University.

Pat grew up on a row crop and hog farm in Bancroft, Iowa. He and his family live in Chicago. Pat is an avid Little League baseball coach and fan to his two boys.
