Angela is the proud owner of HIdden Hill Farms in Auburn Kansas, an agritourism farm where she is dedicated to conservation, no till and regenerative  practices in growing grass fed / finished beef, pastured poultry, produce and more. The farm is also an agritourism/ destination space that  was developed to share the love of agriculture and to teach and reach others.  It includes a farmstay, retreat and  community center where guests come and enjoy a country setting either by day trip or overnight stays and  gain a greater appreciation for agriculture and the importance of local food  systems.  She and her husband RJ  have been recognized for their successful implementation of regenerative agriculture and conservation practices. In 2020 their farm was awarded the Shawnee County Farm Bureau Natural Resources Farm of the Year and Third Place in the State of Kansas. The focus  of their farm is to provide high quality,healthy accessible food to the people in their local communities through a direct farm to consumer model. Through the support of various grants and initiatives and positive community collaboration and participation, the farm is flourishing and growing. After a lifelong career in teaching she continues to serve as a public speaker, writes articles about her farm experiences, and is a consultant and mentor, sharing  regenerative ag  and no till strategies with beginning and developing farmers on both urban and rural farms.
